As our Product Manager, you'll define the roadmap for a product that must, under all circumstances, remain exactly the same.
What you'll do
- Say no to every feature request, professionally and in writing
- Run quarterly planning to reconfirm the roadmap has not changed
- Conduct user interviews to confirm customers are receiving nothing as expected
- Partner with Engineering to make sure nothing new gets built
What we're looking for
- 3+ years of product management experience, ideally on a team that shipped less over time
- Excellent stakeholder management, particularly around disappointing people gently
- A deep, personal conviction that less is more, taken to its logical extreme
Nice to have
- Experience with subscription products; bonus points for a personal subscription you don't use
Compensation
$130,000–$155,000/year base, plus a roadmap you are contractually forbidden from changing.
