You'll ensure Absolutely Nothing stays fully compliant while selling, legally and explicitly, nothing at all.
What you'll do
- Draft and maintain Terms of Service disclosing, in plain language, that customers will receive nothing
- Review marketing copy for any claim that could be mistaken for an actual product
- Advise on subscription billing regulations for recurring charges with no deliverable
- Monitor consumer protection law in jurisdictions where we may eventually sell nothing
What we're looking for
- JD and active bar membership
- Experience with consumer protection, subscription billing, or FTC disclosure requirements
- Comfortable being the only person in the room saying "we should probably disclose that"
Nice to have
- A sense of humor. You will need it.
Compensation
$160,000–$190,000/year base, plus the professional satisfaction of being right about the disclaimer.
